Magnet plans on touring the US and Canada starting next week with Stars on the east coast and Isobel Campbell on the west coast. Check out all of his upcoming tour dates. An exclusive HOLD ON tour 6 Track EP will be available ONLY at these shows.

First dates of Magnet US tour confirmed 1/7/2006
Magnet is touring America in February and March to support the US release of “The Tourniquet” out on Filter Recordings on Feb 14th. These dates below are the first to be confirmed. Magnet will be supporting Stars on these shows.
FEBRUARY
22nd – Boston, Paradise
23rd – Philadelphia, Beyond
24th – Washington DC, Black Cat
25th – New York, Webster Hall

Spellmanprisen nomination 1/4/2006
Congratulations to Even. He’s been nominated for Best Male Artist at the Spellemansprisen, the Norwegian Grammy Awards. Magnet won an award at the Spellemansprisen in 2003 for “On Your Side”.

Magnet confirmed for SXSW ‘06, Austin, TX 12/27/2005
Magnet will begin a US tour in March ‘06 to promote the US release of “The Tourniquet” (out on Filter Recordings in February – including exclusive US only tracks). Dates are TBC but will include performances at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas in March.
