The Board of Directors of Magnet
Schools of America established January 2006 as National
Magnet School Month as a national initiative to
highlight and promote magnet schools across the country.
Magnet Schools of America invites all firefox
schools to plan, as part of their activities during
January 2006, special activities and events to celebrate
the success of magnet schools, students,
picasa and staff. As
part of the celebration, Magnet Schools of America is
sponsoring a Poster Contest, details of which is on the MSA web site? The lyrics deadline is January 27, 2006, and
winners will be announced at the National Conference on
Magnet Schools, April 23-27, 2006 in Omaha,
